During Pyykkitupa's open days, families can drop in for self-guided play, drawing, crafts and games. The play room has toys, board games, Bee-Bots, instruments, and colouring, craft and drawing materials. The hobby-horse stable lets children borrow Pyykkitupa's hobby horses for indoor play or, in good weather, a self-guided ride around Håkansböle Manor Park. School-age children may come and go on their own schedule, while younger children take part with an adult.

- Accessibility
- Pyykkitupa's source information describes the space as accessible and says visual supports, sensory tools and motor-support aids are available. Pyykkitupa has one unisex toilet that also serves as a baby-care and accessible toilet. Accessible parking is nearby, including one space next to Pyykkitupa. Hobby-horse rides may use the manor park, so outdoor weather and ground conditions can affect movement.

- Practical notes
- The space is shoe-free. Families may eat their own snacks in the hall, with a combination oven, fridge, high chairs and dishes available. Coffee and tea are self-service. Strollers are kept outside, and Pyykkitupa lends rain covers for them. Participation does not require Finnish language skills.
- Schedule notes
- Pyykkitupa is open on 10.6. and 11.6. at 09:00-16:00, and on the other dates at 09:30-16:45. The hobby-horse stable is open each day at 09:30-16:30.
- Booking notes
- Families do not need to register in advance. Small daycare groups and other groups of up to 15 people should book a place in advance by email.
- Age notes
- School-age children may come and go freely, but this is not a childcare service or an after-school club. Younger children take part with their own adult.
