During Pyykkitupa's open days, families can play, colour, make crafts, draw and use games independently. The play room and hall have toys, board games, Bee-Bots, instruments, and colouring, craft and drawing materials. Instruments are used together with an adult. In suitable weather, families can borrow croquet equipment, hobby horses, Mölkky and frisbees for outdoor play.

Plan your visit
- Practical notes
- The space is shoe-free. Families may eat their own snacks in the hall, with a combination oven or microwave, fridge, high chairs and dishes available. Coffee and tea are self-service. Strollers are left outdoors without a roof; rain covers can be borrowed. Participation does not require Finnish language skills.
- Booking notes
- Families do not need to register in advance. Small daycare or children's groups of up to 15 participants should reserve a time in advance by emailing pyykkitupa@vantaa.fi.
- Age notes
- School-age children may come and go independently, but this is not childcare or an after-school club. Younger children take part with their own adult.
