Each participant makes a Backpack Friend that can travel along as a source of strength, a friend and a carrier of an important reminder. The workshop is led by author-illustrator Maria Vilja and emotional-skills instructor Reetta Huhta.

Age notes
The workshop is for families, but no exact age recommendation is published. Younger children may need an adult’s help with the craft and emotional theme.
