SAMPO Festival's Around the World by Submarine is a puppet-theatre adventure into the depths of the sea by Tehdas Teatteri. In the spirit of Jules Verne's novel, three shipwrecked seafarers end up aboard the submarine Nautilus and travel from the northern Pacific to the ice of Antarctica. The stage world combines an old-fashioned drawing style, lively puppet figures, strange devices, Captain Nemo and a steampunk-like adventure.
