In Oodi's pop-up space, participants make Shimanto Newspaper Bags from old newspapers and natural starch glue. The workshop invites families to think about how the newspaper photos and layouts become part of each bag's design. One bag takes about 20 minutes to make, and the session is led by Ori-Ori, a group of certified Shimanto Newspaper Bag instructors.
