Stoa's Elojuhla brings Middle East Jam Festival to Stoa Square for Night of the Arts. Families can move between music, dance, organisation stands and workshops, make rhythm instruments from recycled and natural materials, help create a shared plant mat, burn-draw marks onto a deadwood artwork or paint a postcard for pollinators. The family programme also includes Teatteri Qo's Niitty, a puppet-theatre performance about plants, growth, individuality and cooperation.

- Accessibility
- Helsinki Service Map describes the route to Stoa's main entrance as guided, smooth and wide enough, and the main door as automatic. Stoa has an accessible toilet on the same floor. This event also spreads across the square, workshop points and the music hall, so weather, crowds, queues and room layouts may affect moving with prams or mobility aids.
Plan your visit
- Practical notes
- The programme is spread between Stoa Square and Stoa's music hall. The square workshops are listed for 17:00-20:00, and the event page says the rest of the programme will be updated during the summer.
- Schedule notes
- Elojuhla starts at 16:00. The clearly listed family programme runs until 20:00: workshops are 17:00-20:00, and Niitty performances are at 17:00 and 18:00, about 30 minutes each. The end time for the whole festival evening has not been announced.
- Booking notes
- The square programme is free to attend. Free tickets for the Niitty performances are handed out in Stoa's lobby from 16:00, so collect tickets early if the performance is the main reason for going.
- Age notes
- Elojuhla includes programme suitable for families. The Niitty performance is recommended for ages 4 and up, and some workshops may need adult help or waiting time with younger children.
