On Finnish Nature Day at Stoa, the forest calls families to Hallainvuori. At 14.00, choose either a walk with journalist Riikka Kaihovaara or Sanja Hakala's bug excursion for children and adults. At 15.00, the programme moves into the forest for a concert by jouhikko artist Pekko Käppi. You can come to the concert without joining either walk.

Accessibility
The nature routes are not accessible. In heavy rain or storm winds, the concert moves indoors to Stoa and the bug excursion becomes a workshop there, but check arrangements with the organiser before you go if step-free access is important.

Plan your visit

Practical notes
Everyone meets at Playground Hallainvuori. Bring something to sit on, weather-appropriate clothes and good shoes; you can also bring your own snack. Scouts serve forest coffee to the first 50 people at the concert site.
Schedule notes
Guidance to the concert site leaves Playground Hallainvuori at 14.45. The event covers two walking options that begin at the same time and the forest concert starting at 15.00.
Booking notes
The two walks starting at 14.00 each need separate registration through links on the organiser's event page. No registration is needed for the concert starting at 15.00.
Age notes
Sanja Hakala's bug excursion is for children and adults. The whole event works best for children who can walk in the forest with their adult and pause to listen to the concert.
