Participants build, shape and sculpt clay into subjects such as imaginary creatures, comic characters or pets. The pieces are painted, patterned, glazed and fired. The course is led by Master of Arts Enni Kömmistö.

- The morning small group is suitable for children and young people with special needs and others who benefit from a small group. Support tools and the play room are available for breaks. Pyykkitupa describes its indoor space as accessible and provides an accessible toilet, visual supports, sensory tools and motor-support aids. Reasonable adaptations can be arranged in advance at pyykkitupa@vantaa.fi.

- Practical notes
- Finished fired pieces can be collected after about 3–4 weeks. The morning small group allows flexible arrival and departure, and the play room can be used for breaks.
- Schedule notes
- This is a two-day course on Monday and Tuesday. The morning small group meets from 10:00 to 12:00 on both days, and the afternoon open group from 13:00 to 15:00. Registration covers both days of the same group.
- Booking notes
- Advance booking is required. Choose either the morning small group or the afternoon open group; each participant attends their chosen group on both days. Places are limited, so check current availability on the booking page.
- Price notes
- The two-day course costs €12 per participant. A helping adult attends free and does not reserve a course place. An adult making their own clay piece pays €12 and reserves a paid place; six such adult places are available per group. The course is free with a Kaikukortti.
- Age notes
- The course is for ages 6–15 with their own adult. The morning option is a small group for children and young people with special needs and others who benefit from a small group; the afternoon group is open to everyone in the target age range.
