The dance and nature workshops give children and their own adults an unhurried way to spend time together through dance, play and nearby nature. The workshops use dance-related tasks, imagination play, stories and games, and also explore nearby forests in Vuosaari. No previous dance experience is needed. The series is part of the University of Helsinki's Art of Knowing project, and taking part in the research is optional.

- Helsinki Service Map describes Vuotalo's entrance as lit and clearly visible, the route to the entrance as smooth and wide enough, and the main door as automatic. Vuotalo visitor information lists free toilets and a combined accessible toilet and child-care room. Because the workshops also move in nearby forests and the exact meeting place is sent to registered participants, the route may affect participation with prams or mobility aids.

- Practical notes
- The workshops take place in Vuotalo's Small Hall and in nearby forests in Vuosaari. Registered participants receive more detailed meeting information before the course starts, so the public venue should be treated as the Vuotalo starting point rather than an exact forest route.
- Schedule notes
- The series meets on Saturdays 22.8.-7.11.2026 at 10:30-11:45. Participants are expected to commit to the full autumn series. There is no workshop on 17.10.2026.
- Booking notes
- Registration is by email to artofknowing2025@gmail.com. The registration email should include participant names, a phone number and the group.
- Age notes
- The workshops are for children aged 5-8 with their own adult. Adult participation is part of the workshop idea.
