Aranda opens to the public at Katajanokka Quay. Visitors can climb to the bridge and explore the research deck, where specialists present Baltic herring research, hazardous shipwrecks, underwater noise and satellite monitoring of the Baltic Sea. Experts from the Finnish Environment Institute, Finnish Meteorological Institute, Natural Resources Institute Finland and Harakka Nature Centre take part.
