The World of Colors is a participatory museum moment for children and adults at Gallen-Kallela Museum. A guide leads families on a short, playful exploration of the Sunshine and Joy of Life exhibition: looking at art from a child's perspective, finding colors and making observations together. After the guided part, families can continue the adventure tasks at their own pace indoors or in the museum garden.

- Accessibility at the museum is partial. The route from parking goes uphill on a sandy road, the entrance has a ramp but also a threshold, and the historic building has low thresholds and steep stairs to the tower floors. The ground floor can be used with strollers, rollators or wheelchairs. Public toilets, an accessible toilet and a baby-changing table are in the cafe building.

- The meeting starts indoors in the Sunshine and Joy of Life exhibition. Each child should attend with their own adult. The guided part lasts about 20-30 minutes, and families should allow another 20-40 minutes for the self-guided adventure tasks.

- Upcoming guide sessions are on Thursday 9.7.2026 and Thursday 23.7.2026 from 12:00 to 13:30.
- Booking notes
- Tickets are bought in advance from the museum online shop and places are limited. Add the number and ages of children in the online shop's extra information field. The guide has a participant list at the start. The online shop says tickets generally cannot be cancelled or refunded without a particularly serious reason.
- Price notes
- The ticket costs EUR 5. One registration covers one adult and up to two children, including adult museum admission, the guided part and adventure tasks. For Kaikukortti participation, contact the museum.
- Age notes
- The museum recommends the guide for children aged 4-10 with their own adult.
