WelcomeDay invites people who have moved to Helsinki and all Kannelmäki residents to celebrate at Kanneltalo. The family programme includes Clown Täpätä, button-pin and My Kantsu workshops, sports demonstrations, easy Finnish sing-alongs, a gallery visit, and a Grande Mahogany concert. Local services and leisure organisations present their activities in the lobby.

- Kanneltalo has ramped accessible entrances on the Sitratori and Klaneettitie sides, even passageways, and an accessible toilet with a changing table.
