On the Skies of War tour, a Finnish Aviation Museum guide shares stories from the history of military aviation. It is a public museum tour, not a dedicated children's programme. The tour is open to all ages, but because it explores military aviation and the history of war, it works best for families when an older child or teenager is interested in aircraft and history and is ready to explore the theme with an adult.

- Practical notes
- The tour lasts about one hour and has room for up to 20 participants. It takes place indoors, and families can combine it with the exhibitions and Cafe Yläpilvi during opening hours.
- Booking notes
- There is no separate booking link. The group size is limited to 20 participants, so check with the museum if the tour is the main reason for your visit.
- Price notes
- The tour is included in museum admission: adults 14 €, ages 7-17 and concession groups 7 €, under 7s plus Museum Card and Kaikukortti holders 0 €. The annual Junnukortti for ages 7-17 costs 20 €.
- Age notes
- This is not a dedicated children's programme. Although the organiser says it is suitable for all ages, the history of military aviation and war is best from around age 9 upward.
